Heard the learned counsels for the parties.
The petitioner's grievance is that it filed an application before the State respondents for necessary treasury challan in original which is necessary for applying for short term mining lease. Such challan has not been handed over to the petitioner till date. The petitioner prays for disposal of its application dated 1st November, 2019 by the State authorities at the earliest. Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and the material on record, I
dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner on 1st November, 2019 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law.
W.P.A. 4872 of 2020 is thus disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
