State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Ranjan Saha ....for the petitioner.

The petitioner is enjoying a 220 volt supply from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (in short WBSEDCL). The petitioner says that despite making payment of the requisite money, the load has not been enhanced.

On behalf of WBSEDCL, a communication dated 9th October, 2020 issued by the Assistant Engineer & Station Manager, Bhangar CCC, WBSEDCL to the Divisional manager, Bhangar Division, Ghatakpukur, WBSEDCL has been made over to the Court by the advocate for WBSEDCL. The same is taken on record and a copy thereof is directed to be made over to the petitioner.

On perusal of the said letter, it appears that on 14th September, 2020 a new meter has been installed for effecting connection of enhanced load as sought for by the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances as aforesaid, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition. The same is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.

Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted.
