Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the trial. I find that the learned trial court as well as the prosecution has put in efforts till date as the charge has already been framed on 6th March, 2024. Learned special court has fixed dates on and from 24th June, 2024 for the trial of the case. However, having regard to the list of the witnesses which is exhaustive and 29 in number, I direct the learned trial court to fix a schedule of four days in every 60 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties. In case any witness is absent, the learned special court would communicate with the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district. The office of the Superintendent of Police will ensure regarding the availability of the witnesses concerned or in the

alternative send the report regarding issue of non-availability of the witnesses concerned. Learned special court will not excuse any authority for non-availability of the witnesses on lame excuses. Learned public prosecutor conducting the case would produce all the materials, documents and exhibits on the date so fixed for examination of the witnesses. All stakeholders would cooperate with the learned trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 973 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
