Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report. Allegations are against one Tanmoy Chatterjee. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner is the king pin of the fraud organized. Accounts of different neighbours of the petitioner were utilized in order to park the money illegally received.

Materials in the Case Diary suggest that, the petitioner was utilizing bank accounts of the different neighbours for the Signed By :

purpose of parking money which he illegally received. Role of the petitioner in the incident requires investigation. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 834 of 2024 is disposed of.
