Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in excess of three years. He submits that since trial commenced, there is no requirement of further detention of the petitioner.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that commercial quantity of phensedyl was seized from the joint possession of the petitioner.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and bearing in mind the fact that phensedyl above commercial quantity was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
