In the first paragraph of this application for anticipatory bail, the petitioner states that no earlier application was made by him praying for anticipatory bail. This is a patently false statement as has been demonstrated by learned advocate for the State by producing a copy of the order dated September 4, 2020 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRM 5490 of 2020. By that order the petitioner's prayer for anticipatory bail was rejected. Evidently the petitioner has tried to steal a march over this Court. He has mis-instructed his learned counsel. We were minded to impose costs on the petitioner. However the eloquence of learned advocate appearing for him dissuades us to do so.

CRM 2480 of 2021 is dismissed.
