Heard Mr. Shraff, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and considered this contempt application against the alleged violation of the order of this Court dated 2nd May, 2023, by which respondent no.3 was directed to consider the representation in question and it is the allegation of the petitioner that the aforesaid order has not yet been complied with Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate accepts the copy of the contempt application on behalf of the alleged contemnor and submits that instead of respondent no.3 in the writ petition, respondent no.2 is the appropriate authority to consider the representation and this fact even was intimated to the

petitioner and the department has filed the application in this regard. Considering the submission of Mr. Bhattacharya, this matter is adjourned till 2nd February, 2024, to enable the respondent no.2 in the writ petition to comply the aforesaid order dated 2nd May, 2023 and file a compliance report in the form of an affidavit.

List this matter on 2nd February, 2024.
