The grievance of the petitioner is that PPO was issued in his favour on 29th April, 2015 and pension was released in his favour thereafter.

According to the petitioner, after refund of the employer's share of contribution, the pension ought to have been released on and from the next date of superannuation.

The pension payment order issued in favour of the petitioner is annexed with the writ petition. It appears therefrom that the petitioner retired from service on 31st July, 2009 and the pension was disbursed in his favour with effect from 1st August, 2019. The same implies that the pension was duly paid to the petitioner on and from the next date of his superannuation.

In view of the above, it does not appear that the allegation of the petitioner that pension was not released in his favour on and from the next date of his retirement is substantiated from records. It appears that pension was released on and from the next date of his retirement. Accordingly, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.

The writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.
