The petitioner prays for consideration of the appeal preferred before the Mayor of Asansol Municipal Corporation in December 2022.

According to the provisions of law, the Mayor of the Corporation is not the appellate forum to decide the appeal.

In view of the above, prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be allowed.

It will be open for the petitioner to take steps in the mater in accordance with law before the appropriate forum.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
