In this writ petition, petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer by way of direction upon the respondent No.2, The Assistant Commissioner, CGST, Central Excise & Services Tax, Range-V, Shyambazar Division, Kolkata North Commissionerate to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 3rd December, 2020 for revocation of its order of cancellation of its registration upon which the respondent No.2 is sitting tight.

Considering the submission of the petitioner this writ petition, being WPA 5728 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 to consider the aforesaid application of the petitioner for revocation of cancellation in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorised representative within six week from the date of communication of this order.
