By this writ petition, petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer for direction upon the CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal which has been filed on 12th January, 2017 as appears from page 21 of the writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition, being WPA 6475 of 2024, is disposed of by directing the respondent CIT (Appeals) concerned to consider and dispose of the pending appeal in question filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.
