Petitioner is a septuagenarian. He is in custody for more than two years. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits on a number of occasions. There are materials implicating the petitioner in the murder.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial court is requested to consider the issue of framing of charge at the earliest without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
