Petitioner intends to raise construction after a scheme was allotted in his favour by way of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana. However, the petitioner claims that he has been resisted by the private respondents for raising such construction.

State has submitted that the petitioner has never approached the police authorities with necessary prayers for affording police protection. In view of the nature of the prayer being made, I am of the view that the Officer-in-Charge, Jaynagar Police Station will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2025 in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6013 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
