Chatterjee, Mr. Dinesh Pani ...For the Petitioner Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya, Ms. Anita Shaw, Ms. Salma Sultana ...For the Respondent Nos. 3 to 5 It is the grievance of the petitioner that he appeared in the selection process for the post of Lower Division Clerk at Sree Chaitanya Mahavidyalaya, Habra on December 18, 2015, but till date, the said college has not taken any step to complete the selection process. The college, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner had participated in the selection process along with other candidates under the exempted category and one Banshi Badan De was appointed to the post in question being the first empanelled candidate in the selection process. During pendency of the writ petition, Banshi Badan De retired from the said post.

The college has disclosed the relevant documents in support of its stand. Let the said documents be kept with the records.

The facts disclosed by the college make it clear that there is no scope to grant any relief as prayed for in

this writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 6925 of 2021 is dismissed.
