1. The police case is dated October 4, 2021.

2. Police case involves the narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances Act, 1985. Commercial quantity of contraband was seized.

3. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner was not named in the first information report and was not named in the first charge sheet filed. It is only in the supplementary charge sheet that the name of the petitioner was transpiring.

4. Fact remains that, petitioner is an accused in a police case involving commercial quantity of contraband.

5. Police case, as noted above, is October 4, 2021.

6. In view of the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

8. CRM (A) 952 of 2025 is dismissed.
