In terms of the order dated 30th March, 2026, learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 19th April, 2026 of Officer-inCharge, Shyampukur Police Station, Kolkata and same is taken on record.

Copies of the said communication dated 19th April, 2026 are made over to the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the respondent no.4.

It is disclosed in the said communication dated 19th April, 2026 that one Sub-Inspector of Police of the concerned police station made enquiry and obtained information from local persons that the shop-room in question is locked for a long period of time and there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondent no.4. 4.

Court fails to understand as to why in a locked shoproom supply of electricity is necessary, rather petitioner

[2] is required to approach the appropriate forum for asserting his right over the shop-room in question which would permit the petitioner to occupy the same. 5.

In view of the contents of the said communication dated 19th April, 2026, present writ petition is disposed of thereby granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in pursuit of remedy.

Since no affidavit is called for, allegations contained in this writ petition are not deemed to have been admitted. 7.
