The petitioner complains of alleged inaction by Mandir Bazar Police Station in respect of a complaint dated 18th February, 2022.

The petitioner alleges that his father's signature was forged to prepare certain documents of title in respect of certain properties.

The petitioner has effective alternative remedy under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and may avail the said remedy in addition to the civil remedies under the Specific Relief Act. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
