Although service has not yet been completed on the private respondents, the matter is not adversarial inasmuch as the petitioners seek implementation of the concerned statute insofar as the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 filed by the petitioner no.1 has not yet been disposed of, despite having exceeded the outer statutory timelimit. 3.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the petitioners and the respondent no.2, WPA 6500 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2, that is, the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner no.1 under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002

as expeditiously as possible, positively within four weeks from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
