Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 102 days. The police filed chargesheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner married thrice. The first wife died out of consuming poison. The second wife left the petitioner due to torture. The third wife who is the victim in the present case, died again due to poisoning.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 891 of 2022 is dismissed.
