...... petitioners Mr. Atis Kumar Biswas ....for the petitioners Mr. Dipankar Mahata ....for the State Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

Two persons suffered stab injuries by a knife. Those injured persons implicated both the petitioners before us in the incident of stabbing.

Apparently, petitioners, de facto complainant and the injured generated documents purporting to exonerate the petitioner before us.

Apparently, petitioners are sufficiently influential so as to generate such documents and interfere with the administration of justice.

Enlarging the petitioners in the facts of this case particularly in view of the documents generated would send a wrong signal to the society.

Immediate custodial interrogation of the petitioners are required.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 848 of 2024 is disposed of.
