This Court does not find any reason to pass an order upon the CESC authorities to remove the commercial connection of the respondent no.6. The photographs reveal that some machinery, etc., is lying in the premises. Thus, it could be a situation where the respondent no.6 is running some kind of a commercial enterprise from the premises in question. The CESC authorities, upon conducting inspection and upon being satisfied that necessary compliance had been made, had granted connection. They can disconnect if the respondent No.6 fails to comply with the law or discharge the obligation to pay bills etc. However, the petitioner cannot seek disconnection of the supply of respondent No.6 to perpetuate a private dispute.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
