Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 91 days and there has been no recovery from the present petitioner, although the subject-matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of more than 10 kgs. of brown sugar.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that investigation of the case is in progress.

Considering the huge quantity of seizure of contraband, at this stage, I am inclined to grant opportunity to the investigating agency to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the charge-sheet is submitted.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 503 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
