Petitioners are aggrieved that they were not able to return their residences since it was locked.

Bhagwanpur Police Station has registered a case being FIR No.

of under Sections 302/120B/201/34 of the IPC. The scene of the crime has been opened and the petitioners are living there.

The petitioners are afraid of continuous threat from the private respondents. The private respondents have been arrested.

It is ordered that investigation into the FIR No. 84 of 2023 is completed within one month from date. If the petitioners received any further threat, they may lodge a formal complaint in this regard to the police.

The S.P., Purba Medinipur shall look into the threat the petitioners complaints in the letters dated 20.02.2023 and 06.03.2023.

6.

The S.P., Purba Medinipur shall assess the treat perception to the petitioners and take appropriate measures in accordance with law.

7.

The police shall ensure that the petitioners are able to reside peacefully in their residences.

8.

The writ petition is disposed of.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
