Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 170 days and chargesheet has already been filed, charges have been framed as well. The present petitioners are all neighbours of one Sadhana Biswas and they have been implicated in the instant case for assaulting the deceased with a sharp cutting weapon "HESUA" thereby resulting the deceased succumbing to the injuries.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and has drawn the attention of the Court to the different

statements of the witnesses including the statement of the mother of the deceased under Section 183 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

I have taken into account the genesis of the present case and having regard to the fact that the present petitioners are neighbours and the prosecution has relied upon 19 witnesses in order to prove its case which may consume some amount of time for logical conclusion, I am inclined to release the petitioners on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed.

As such, the petitioners shall furnish bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Krishnagar, Nadia.

If on bail, the petitioners shall be physically present on each and every date before the learned Trial Court in seisin of the case. The petitioners shall not leave the district of Nadia without prior permission of the concerned Court. 7.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 694 of 2026 is disposed of. 8.

Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

10. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
