Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. By this writ petition, petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer of direction upon the Co-operative Election Commission authority concerned for holding election in question.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 6244 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the West Bengal Co-operative Election Commission/ respondent No.4 to initiate and expedite the process of election in question of the Society in accordance with law and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

In the meantime, the respondent No.3, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 21st February, 2023 being Annexure

P-8 to the writ petition in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their authorised representative, within six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
