Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved of the inaction of the police authorities or not taking any step pursuant to the information furnished with Usthi Police Station. State has submitted a report which reflects that DDH Cyber Crime Police Station Case No.

07/2025 dated 19.03.2025 was registered for investigation. The investigation of the case is still in progress. Steps have been taken for tracing out the amount which has been the subject-matter of fraud committed and loss suffered by the petitioner. Report also reflects that the roots of the case are at Jharkhand.

Steps are being taken by the investigating agency.

In view of the aforesaid, I am of the opinion that the information which was furnished with

Usthi Police Station on or about 12.03.2025 has been acted upon. In view of the fact that steps have been taken which is not even a month since the information was furnished to the police authorities, I direct that the police authorities would take effective measures for unearthing the truth in view of the evidences which have already been collected by them. In case any cooperation is required, the police authorities would immediately inform the petitioner who has set the law into motion.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 6082 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
