The petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the investigation in connection with Beliaghata Police Station Case No. 18/2025 dated 06.02.2025 has been progressing.

State has submitted a report in respect of the steps which have been taken including the specimen signatures and verification thereof by the expert concerned. Having considered that police authorities have taken steps in consonance with the provisions of law, I am of the view that the investigation which is not even 60 days old is progressing in a smooth and fair manner.

Considering the same, at this stage I do not find any reason to effect any change in the investigating agency. However, it is directed that before filing the report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal

Procedure or under Section 193 of BNSS, the investigating officer would consult and take approval from the Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of Beliaghata Police Station.

Learned advocates appearing for the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 submit that the private respondent nos. 5 and 6 are cooperating with the investigation and have made themselves available as and when called for by the investigating agency. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 6086 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
