Sri Ashok Kumar Kanodia versus State of West Bengal & Ors.

Records of the case reflect that the writ petition was listed on 07.06.2010 when none appeared on behalf of any of the parties even on second call. Subsequently again the writ petition appeared on 19.05.2010 and 08.08.2024 when none represented the petitioner or the respondents. Today also when the writ petition has been called, none represents the petitioner.

No accommodation is sought for. Having regard to the time period which has lapsed in the meantime, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 4571 of 2010 is dismissed for default.
