March 12, F.M.A.T. 348 of 2018 The appellant is not represented either physically or on virtual mode, nor any accommodation is prayed for. Although the opportunity was given to the appellant to remove the defects, the defects have not been removed.

We have considered the report of the stamp reporter dated May 5, 2018. We find that the appeal is not maintainable under Section 21(1)a of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Court (W. B. Amendment) Act, 2000.

On such consideration, the appeal is dismissed as "not maintainable". However, the appellant is at liberty to move the appropriate forum in accordance with law for redressal of his grievances.

The appellant shall be entitled to avail legal aid services. If approached, the Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority shall render all legal assistance to the appellant. There will be no order as to costs.

Office is directed to return the certified copy of the order impugned to the appellant upon his furnishing a photostat copy thereof.
