The petitioners approached this Court in respect of the warrant of arrest dated 01.02.2024 issued by the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court (POCSO), Arambagh, Hooghly in connection with Khanakul Police Station Case No.440 of 2023. I have taken into account the order so passed by the learned Special Court on 09.01.2024.

Having considered the reasons so assigned, I direct the learned trial court that in case the petitioners appear and surrender by 30th April, 2024, the learned trial court will consider the bail of the petitioners in accordance with law keeping in mind the earlier order passed by the Hon'ble High Court in CRM (A) 3316 of 2023. If the petitioners do not appear by 30th April, 2024, the learned trial court would resort to harsher process of law by adhering Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 993 of 2024 is disposed of.
