1. The petitioners seek certain relief under the Master Direction of the Reserve Bank of India [Lending to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Sector]-Directions2016.

2. The respondent nos. 2 & 3 is a non-banking financial institution. The Master Direction specifically mentions that the provisions of the said Directions apply to every Scheduled Commercial Bank {excluding Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)} licensed to operate in India by the Reserve Bank of India.

3. At the very outset, it appears that the petitioners will not be entitled to the benefits under the subject Master Direction.

4. In view of the above, no relief can be granted to petitioners in the instant writ petition. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
