1. The writ petition was preferred challenging the proceedings arising out of Chinsurah Police Station Case No.05/25 dated 08.01.2025. The petitioner has prayed for quashing of the proceeding. Mr. Ganguly, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners also submits that notice under Section 35(3) was served upon the petitioner and it has been submitted that the petitioners have complied with the same.

2. In view of the nature of the prayers advanced, it was directed to produce the case diary before this court. I have perused the case diary. As the investigation is at the nascent stage and on an assessment of the materials, which have been collected by the Investigating Officer, I am of the view that there is no scope for scuttling or terminating or interfering with the proceedings at this stage of the investigation when the process of collection of the materials is in progress.

3. In view of the aforesaid, no interference is made in respect of the prayers so advanced by the petitioner. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to exhaust the statutory remedies available under the law.

4. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 6080 of 2025 is disposed of.
