1. The petitioner has applied for transfer on the ground of distance and her minor children. The petitioner working at Sundarban Adarsha Vidyaniketan (HS) at Shibganj, Basanti in the District of South 24 Parganas. She seeks transfer to a School nearby her residence Baghajatin Balika Vidyalaya in the District of Howrah.

2. In those circumstances, the School and the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas shall consider the petitioner's application for transfer and take a decision in the matter mandatorily and positively, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. If the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas finds that the petitioner's application is within the Rules in question, he shall take further

steps to refer the matter to the School Service Commission.

4. The entire process as aforesaid shall be carried out offline.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
