Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that she is unable to treat her husband because of financial stress and to that effect, intends to sale of the property. Petitioner complains that two sons being respondent nos. 6 and 7 are creating obstruction to the same and on the other hand they are also not contributing to the treatment of the father.

Petitioner informed the Inspector-in-Charge, Serampore Police Station by sending a representation through speed post on 05.03.2025. Petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation. Police authorities would in the circumstances assess regarding the inconveniences faced by the petitioner and thereafter assist her in case she is faced with resistance from the respondent nos. 6 & 7.

Needless to state that, this Court has not entered into the merits so far as the accusations are concerned, police would assess whether any cognizable or non-cognizable offence is committed and thereafter take steps adhering to the provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 6155 of 2025 is disposed of.
