The petitioner alleges unauthorised construction at the behest of respondent nos. 5 and 6 on a plot claimed to be owned by the petitioner.

The petitioner submits that, despite repeated representations, the Bidhannagore Municipal Corporation has not taken any action.

Mr. Bandopadhyay, learned advocate for the Bidhannagore Municipal Corporation, submits that the representations have not been addressed to the appropriate authority of the Corporation.

It appears that the service upon respondent nos. 5 and 6 has been returned with the endorsement "insufficient address."

In light of the above, I am not inclined to pass any order in the present writ petition.

However, I grant liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before the Commissioner of the Bidhannagore Municipal Corporation. If such a representation is filed, the Commissioner shall consider it in accordance with the law.

With the above directions, the instant writ petition, WPA No. 6689 of 2024, is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon completion of requisite formalities.
