1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher. She had made an application for transfer on special ground of divorce, sometime in 2022, which was duly forwarded by the School Authorities by issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the respondent no. 4. The respondent no. 4 in its turn has forwarded the same to the respondent no. 3 sometime in the year 2022. The same is pending consideration before the Commission.

3. Mr. Bandyopadhyay, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 3, submits that the pendency is on account of suspension of the Utsashree portal.

4. The respondent no. 3, the Secretary, WBCSSC is directed to consider the application in accordance with law and dispose of the same by June 15, 2026 and communicate the result of such consideration to the petitioner as well as to the school authorities by the afore-stated date. The Commission will recommend the transfer of the petitioner to a school of her choice, provided such school is not notified in other competitive examinations.

5. With these afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
