Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that one co-accused was granted anticipatory bail by this Hon'ble Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the co-accused who was granted anticipatory bail was so given in view of such co-accused being a lady. He refers to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which implicates the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering his involvement as transpiring from the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the

petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1565 of 2022 is dismissed.
