Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner complains that in spite of informing the police authorities being the Officer-in-Charge, Kharagpur Local Police Station no steps have been taken. Petitioner complains that there was illegal allotment of house under the Awas Yojana.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the nature of the dispute complained of is civil in nature and to resolve such disputes the petitioner and the private respondents were advised to approach the civil court.

Having considered that the police authorities have hardly any issue relating to the right, title and interest of a property, I am of the opinion that police authorities would only interfere if there is violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 6376 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
