1. Affidavit of service is taken on record. Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondent no.6.

2. The petitioners seek removal of the meter from which the supply has been granted to the respondent no.6. The petitioner contends that the said meter has been installed in the meterroom belonging to the petitioners.

The learned advocate for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited submits that the petitioners' connection was granted in the year 2017 and connection to the respondent no.6 was granted in 2022. The petitioners did not raise any objection at the time of granting connection to the respondent no.6.

4. It is further contended that another writ petition being WPA 2049 of 2023 was filed by the respondent no.6, challenging the connection granted to the petitioners.

In view of the pendency of the suit and the specific order of the Co-ordinate Bench in WPA 2049 of 2023, the present writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioners to ventilate their grievance in the suit.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
