Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by an order passed by the First Authority under Section 6 of the Right to Information Act, 2005. The information sought by the petitioner was refused.

On an appeal being preferred therefrom to the first appellant authority, it was directed that First Authority should part with the information sought by the petitioner. The First Authority thereupon recorded that most of the information was provided and the other information not provided was available in public domain. The remedy of the petitioner against the non-compliance by the First Authority is inter alia under Sections 18 and/or 19 of the Act itself.

In that view of the matter, reserving rights to the petitioner to approach the Authorities under the 2005 Act inter alia as indicated hereinabove, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
