None appears for the private respondents.

The petitioner challenges the appointment of the private respondent as Muslim Marriage Registrar. It has been submitted that the private respondent relied upon fake and false documents for the purpose of getting the appointment. Allegation is that the objection filed against the appointment of the private respondent has not been considered by the authority till date. 4.

The learned advocate representing the State respondents has obtained instruction dated 1st August, 2025 from OSD & ex-officio Joint Secretary, Law Department wherefrom it appears that the Government received complaint against private respondent and an eqniry was caused. On perusal of the enquiry report the State Government passed order for initiation on departmental enquiry after placing the private respondent under suspension until further orders.

The order of suspension dated 8th January, 2024 was challenged by the private respondent by filing writ petition being WPA 2771 of 2024 and vide judgment dated 25th July, 2025 this Court was pleased to dismissed the said writ petition. On dismissal of the writ petition steps have been taken for conducting departmental enquiry against the private respondents. 6.

In view of the aforesaid submission, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
