None appears on behalf of the petitioners. The instant writ petition was filed in the year 2007. The allegation of the petitioners is that they were illegally dispossessed from their property by a notice issued by the local Panchayat Pradhan who has no authority to dispossess them. For illegal dispossession efficacious relief lies in filing the suit for recovery of possession. Therefore, I do not find any merit in the instant writ petition. Moreover, the petitioners are not represented. The instant writ petition is pending for the last 16 years

without any progress. This prima facie shows that the petitioners are not interested to proceed with the instant writ petition. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.)
