.......Petitioners Mr. Sujoy Sarkar Mrs. Sneha Srivastava Mrs. Debolina Goswami ...for the Petitioners The petitioners have assailed the order dated December 05, 2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Chanchal, Malda in Sessions Case No. 125 of 2023 directing issuance of warrant of arrest against them.

It appears that the petitioners were on bail and adjournment petition filed by them before the learned Judge on December 05, 2024 was not moved and the petitioners were found absent on call for which warrant of arrest has been issued against them. The petitioners undertake to surrender before the learned Court within a fortnight from date. If the petitioners surrender before the learned Court within a fortnight from date, they shall be allowed to remain on the same bond.

In the event the petitioners fail to surrender before the learned Court within the stipulated time frame, the learned Court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioners in accordance with law without further reference to this Court. The warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner vide order dated December 05, 2024 be stayed till April 17, 2025. CRR No. 1252 of 2025 is disposed of accordingly.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
