The petitioner is in custody for nearly by 340 days and prays for bail since the charge-sheet has already been filed meaning thereby that there is no further investigation which is required to be conducted. It appears from the case diary that though the charge sheet has been filed but it has not been committed to trial which impedes the further progress of the case. After perusing all the materials available on the record, we do not think that it is a fit case where the petitioner should be enlarged on bail. However, we direct the Court below to take appropriate steps to expedite the matter in accordance with law so that the case can be committed.

CRM 2546 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of.
