Party/Parties is/are represented in the order of their name/names as printed above in the cause title. The appellant was the writ petitioner.

The appellant was denied recruitment to the Central Reserve Force (CRPF) on twin medical grounds namely unfit on the ground of squint and low standard of distant vision.

The appellant submits that the report of the civilian doctor does not show any such ground of medical unfitness.

The respondents/CRPF is represented by Mr. Pain, Learned Counsel.

Having heard the parties and considering the materials placed, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be subserved if the appellant is examined by a specialist of the Command Hospital, Kolkata. Accordingly, the appellant shall appear before the Superintendent of Command Hospital, Kolkata who shall take steps to have the appellant examined with regard to

the twin grounds of medical unfitness as alleged by the respondents/CRPF.

The report of the Command Hospital, Kolkata shall be communicated to the respondents/CRPF within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order by the appellant to the Superintendent, Command Hospital, Kolkata.

The respondent/CRPF shall then take steps in terms of the order of the Command Hospital, Kolkata. MAT 344 of 2021 along with CAN 1 of 2021 stand thus disposed of.

In view of the order passed above, affidavits are nor invited and the allegations are deemed to be denied and disputed.

All parties to act on a server copy of this order duly obtained from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.

Urgent xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
