The Block Development Officer, Bharatpur-II Development Block shall intimate the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order as to why although the name of the petitioner which had appeared initially in the provisional list of beneficiaries under the PMAY(G) scheme, had been deleted from the final list and the benefit had not been granted to him. This Court has not gone into the merits of the allegation of the petitioner. The submission of Mr. De, learned advocate for the State respondents that the scheme is over and cannot be reopened at this stage, has also not been gone into, as the Court has merely directed the Block Development Officer to intimate the petitioner the reason for deletion of his name from the final list of beneficiaries of the PMAY(G).

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
