Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents. Affidavit-of-service is taken on record. Although the petitioner claims to be the legally married wife of the deceased and submits that for some formal and official purpose a legal heirship certificate would be necessary, this Court is not expressing any opinion on the claim of the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Pradhan, 7 No. Balisai Gram Panchayat, District Purba Medinipur to intimate the petitioner the reason as to why the petitioner's prayer for grant of a legal heirs certificate in respect of all the legal heirs and representatives of late Pradip Patra @ Pradip Kumar Patra has not yet been considered. Such communication shall reach the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this

order. If necessary, a hearing may be given to all the legal heirs and representatives of the deceased.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order upon the concerned Pradhan.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
