-vs- State of West Bengal & Ors.

19.07.2023 Ct.15 Mr. Ramkrishna Bhattacharya Mr. Somraj Dhar ... for the petitioners. Mr. Srijan Nayek Mr. Ankit Sureka Mr. Biplab Das ... for the respondent nos. 2 & 3. At the time of call Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate representing the petitioners submits that the issue involved in this writ petition relates to election which took place sometime in 2016. It has also been submitted that he has tried to contact the petitioners but has failed as a result whereof he is without any instruction today.
However, respondent nos. 2 and 3 are represented by learned advocates.
Previously matter was taken up when prayer for adjournment was granted and matter was directed to appear in the monthly combined list of July 2023. It appears petitioners have lost interest in the fate of this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
