In view of such decision taken on 21st July, 2023 pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 20th April, 2022 another part of the order dated 20th April, 2022 stands complied with.

However, it has been submitted on behalf of the contemnors today that the sum paid to the applicant on issuing cheque dated 28th June, 2023 as referred to in the previous order dated 30th June, 2023 is for release of leave encashment benefits and arrear salary under 6th Pay Revision. Accordingly the relevant part of the order dated 30th June, 2023 stands modified.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands disposed of and contempt proceeding also stands dropped.

However, this order shall not preclude the applicant to take steps in accordance with law, if so advised.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
