Apprehending arrest in connection with Kaliachak P.S. Case No.340 of 2019 dated 17.06.2019 under Sections 18(C)/21(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the petitioners have filed the present application.

No one appears on behalf of the petitioners.

Mr. Datta, learned advocate appearing for the State, submits that during pendency of the present application for anticipatory bail, the petitioner no.1 filed another application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 2058 of 2021 and the same was dismissed by an order dated 10 th June, 2021. The petitioner no.2 earlier preferred an application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 7888 of 2019 and the same was dismissed by an order dated 9th September, 2019.

It, thus, appears that the applications for anticipatory bail of both the petitioners had already been rejected earlier and there had been no change in the facts and circumstances thereafter. In view thereof, the present application, being CRM 2806 of 2020, is dismissed.
